Chris graduated from Canton-Galva High School and then obtained his degree in Collision Refinishing Technology and Management in 2007 at WyoTech in Wyoming. In 2014, Chris and Kena purchased their first building in Canton, KS and he began working as the sole employee. Since then, they have moved their location to McPherson and gained 20 employees. Chris is a perfectionist when it comes to vehicles and prides himself on producing quality automotive repairs.

Kena graduated from McPherson High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University. Since graduating, she has worked in the accounting field and actually enjoys crunching numbers. Kena began working full-time alongside her husband at Dacus Auto Body in 2015. She is involved in most aspects of the Dacus auto businesses and is currently serving as President of the Kansas Auto Body Association. She enjoys reading and spending time with Chris and their three kids when not at work.

As office manager, Samantha has many important tasks that keep her busy such as answering phones and assisting our customers with their insurance claims. When she is not at the office, Samantha loves to spend time with her family at the lake and is quite the wine connoisseur.

Shawn is typically one of the first faces you may see when bringing your vehicle to our shop. With 25 years of experience within mechanical shops and the automotive service industry, Shawn works closely with our customers and insurance companies to plan out the appropriate repairs needed for damaged vehicles. Out of the office, Shawn keeps busy with his wife and 7 children as they are very involved in multiple sports.

Stella was born in 2009. Her main duties include greeting our customers, cleaning the floor after lunch and sunbathing on the sidewalk.

With experience since 2009, Kenny keeps our operations moving by ordering parts, mirror matching parts, and working with returns and billing. When Kenny's not at the shop, he likes to spend his time with his family or at the race track.

Lyle is a self-taught refinishing technician with experience since 1990. Lyle specializes in the painting process from start to finish.  His hobbies are fishing when the weather is nice and cooking indoors or outdoors.  Fun fact, Lyle has 7 children and 4 grandchildren which keep him busy outside of work.

Dave is a graduate of North Central Technical College of Beloit, KS, and has been in the automotive industry since 2001. Dave is one of our refinishing technicians where he specializes in the painting process from start to finish. While not at the shop, Dave enjoys riding dirt bikes, spending time with family, and playing the drums.

Brandon is a graduate of North Central Technical College of Beloit, KS, and has been with us since 2020. Brandon is one of our refinishing technicians where he specializes in the painting process from start to finish. Brandon enjoys working on his own personal vehicles along with project cars as a hobby with his Dad.

Chris has been in the industry since 2012. While he is trained in all areas of collision repair, he is our resident glass repair/replacement guy and is also trained in paintless dent repair. He enjoys cruising on his motorcycle in his spare time.

Mike is a graduate of North Central Technical College of Beloit, and has been in the automotive industry since.  Mike is trained in all aspects of collision repair but specializes in body repair work and glass installation. Being a member of the Precision Rifle Series and camping are two hobbies Mike enjoys in his off time.

Everett is a graduate of Hutchinson Community College and has hands-on experience since 2007. Everett is trained in all aspects of collision repair but specializes in repair planning, reassembly, and glass installation. In his free time, you can find Everett spending time with his family or enjoying an outing of paintball.

Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Emporia State University and has been in the profession since 2007. Book in hand, you can find Lindsey camping, playing with her children and dogs, and spending time with family when she’s away from the office.

Tanner is our repair plan consultant. Tanner works with customers to gather crucial information and photos to aid our damage analysis team in restoring our customer’s vehicles to pre-accident condition. Tanner has 14 years of automotive experience in total and 5 years in the collision industry. When Tanner is not at work, he enjoys wakeboarding and spending time at the lake with his family. Tanner also enjoys working on and restoring boats and cars.

Ryder has been training with multiple technicians in different departments while he finishes his certification as a technician. His focus is on structural and metal repair work. When Ryder is not at the shop he enjoys riding his Harley, hunting and fishing.

Edwyn has 7 years of automotive experience and works in our disassembly and reassembly departments. Edwyn carefully disassembles the vehicle at the point of impact and documents all parts that need to be replaced or repaired and relays the information to our repair plan department. When Edwyn is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, and shooting guns.

Darcy has 15 years of automotive experience and works as our damage analysis technician as well as our mechanical and alignment technician. Darcy works with our repair plan department to accurately map out and disassemble vehicles. Darcy’s mechanical background also allows him to perform anything from engine replacements to alignments. When Darcy is not at work, he enjoys riding motorcycles, participating in the Gambler 500, and being a DJ.

Josh is in our detail department and performs our alignments. Josh graduated from HCC with an Auto Technology degree and looks to further his education in the automotive field. When Josh is not a work, he can usually be found working on his project car.
