Chris Dacus

Owner

Chris, a graduate of Canton-Galva High School, earned his degree in Collision Refinishing Technology and Management from WyoTech in Wyoming in 2007. Since then, he and his wife, Kena, have expanded their operations to McPherson, growing their business and team. With a solid foundation in automotive repair, Chris’s keen attention to detail and dedication to excellence are evident in every aspect of the towing operations. His commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring the reliability of each tow job has been instrumental in the continued success of Dacus Towing & Recovery.

Kena Dacus

Owner

Kena graduated from McPherson High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University. With a background in accounting, she has a strong knack for managing the financial side of the business. Kena joined Dacus Auto Body full-time alongside her husband in 2015, and since then, she has played a pivotal role in managing the dispatch team and overseeing daily operations. Her organizational skills and leadership have been key to ensuring smooth coordination within the towing operations.

Brandon Powell

Detail Technician

Brandon is a valuable team member in our towing operations, bringing a strong background in welding technology, forklift operation, and fabrication, from his education at Salina Vo-Tech. He plays a key role in maintaining our trucks, building, car wash, and grounds, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys helping others and cherishes time spent with his kids and dogs, reflecting his commitment to both his professional and personal life.

Ben Ratzlaff

Tow Driver

Ben has been a valued member of the Dacus Towing & Recovery team for two and a half years, bringing with him 25 years of experience as a General Contractor in construction and seven years in ready-mix concrete supply. Ben expertly manages a wide range of tow jobs, from light to heavy. A true team player, Ben is someone we can always rely on, and his dedication and expertise make him an essential part of our operations.

Kevin Schroeder

Tow Driver

With five years of experience as a diesel mechanic and 10 years as a welder, Kevin is a highly valued member of our towing operations. He is responsible for handling a wide range of tow jobs, as well as managing truck maintenance to ensure our fleet remains in top condition. Outside of work, Kevin has a passion for scuba diving and raising bucking bulls.

Chad Becker is one of our skilled tow drivers, with six years of experience in towing and an additional five years of expertise in the construction industry. His diverse background allows him to handle a wide range of situations with professionalism and precision. When he’s not on the job, Chad values spending quality time with his family.
