Our Story
Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair was founded in 2014 by Chris and Kena Dacus in Canton, Kansas, with a commitment to quality workmanship, honest service, and strong community relationships.
In 2017, the business expanded to McPherson with the purchase of the former Vern Winter Body Shop, carrying forward its legacy under the Dacus Auto Body name. Continued growth led to a remodeled and expanded McPherson facility and the launch of Dacus Towing & Recovery in 2020, providing safe, seamless support from the accident scene to the repair process.
In 2025, Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair expanded again with the acquisition of a second location in Salina, Kansas, formerly known as Crossroads Collision.
Today, Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair continues to grow while staying rooted in the values it was built on, quality workmanship, ongoing training, and care for the communities we serve.
