JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Provide tow and recovery services using company guidelines
•  Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire services using company guidelines
•  Communicate with customers effectively to keep them updated and ensure their safety
• Make sound and professional decisions regarding the safe recovery of vehicles while accommodating customers’ needs
• Enter call information and update current statuses accurately into towing software, process payments, handle cash and complete reports as required
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring that all are in safe operating condition and requirements are met.  Ensure that the fleet vehicle and all equipment are always adequately secured, including when the vehicle is not in use
•  Conduct business with customers in a professional manner, including being dressed in uniform and consulting and referring customers to Dacus Auto Body and Collision Repair

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess and maintain valid CDL with clean driving record
• Must have the ability to pass a physical examination as required by Department of Transportation
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds; ability to bend, kneel and balance to change tires, inspect and push vehicles
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge
• Must be willing to work several on-call shifts per week including some nights and weekends.
