FAQ

Estimates are completely free! You don’t need an appointment to get an estimate, but we do appreciate it if you schedule one in advance.

We’re almost always available to write estimates, so feel free to stop by our shop if you're in the area! If you prefer, you can use our online estimating tool to start the process. Simply submit your information, and one of our customer service representatives will contact you shortly to complete the estimate.

You can also schedule an in-person appointment for an estimate at your convenience or give us a call at (620) 241-6054 to speak with a representative.

We're here to make the estimate process as easy and convenient as possible!

Estimate pricing can vary a lot. Price differences can be due to the quality of parts, differences in labor times and differences in repair procedures being quoted. If you have received more than one estimate, we would be happy to review them and explain what you are getting with each estimate. Lower priced estimates might have left out necessary repairs, parts or quality. Ask questions about your estimates to ensure you understand what you are paying for (or not paying for).

Yes! Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair works with all insurance companies to make the repair process as smooth as possible for you. While we are not a direct repair shop for any specific insurer, we advocate for your best interests, ensuring your vehicle is repaired to the highest standards using the best parts and procedures.

Remember, you have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired—don’t let your insurance company steer you toward a shop that prioritizes cost-cutting over quality. We’ll help guide you through the claims process and work with your insurer to get your vehicle back on the road safely.

Absolutely! You have the legal right to choose Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair or any shop you trust, no matter what your insurance company suggests. Some insurers may try to steer you toward their preferred shops, but you are not required to use them.

At Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair, we prioritize high-quality repairs, OEM parts, and your vehicle’s safety—ensuring it meets the highest standards. Don’t let your insurance company decide for you—it’s your car, your choice!

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are made by the same company that produced the original parts for your vehicle. They are designed to match the exact specifications of your car, ensuring proper fit, function, and safety. Choosing OEM parts helps maintain your vehicle’s original performance and crashworthiness.

Aftermarket parts, however, are produced by third-party manufacturers and made to fit multiple vehicle models. While they may be more affordable, they don’t always meet the same quality or safety standards as OEM parts. This can lead to issues with fit, durability, and even your vehicle’s overall safety in the event of a collision.

For repairs, choosing OEM parts helps protect your vehicle’s integrity and ensures it meets the manufacturer’s safety standards.

We are proudly OEM Certified for FCA (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram), Ford, and GM. These certifications mean we meet the manufacturers' strict repair standards, use OEM-approved parts, and follow factory-approved repair procedures to ensure your vehicle is restored to its original safety and performance.

We are continuously working to expand our certifications and aim to add two more in the next year.

You can verify our certifications and locate us through the official manufacturer shop locators:
